Hi, i've having some trouble finding what "bundle" really means in steamgifts. I thought it was referring only to "games that are/were in a bundle". But now i find out that steam games on discount are also considered "bundle". I searched for a topic explaining what makes a "bundle game", but i can't a find any.
Can someone send me a link to one?
If such topic doesn't exist i would suggest that someone from the staff create one.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

actually you all are kinda useless. op already heard about 95% or more off thingy. they demand a thread from the staff.

Yes, the OP already knows the answers, just wants to know why their recent GAs did not boost their CV is all. At least from my understanding of the situation without knowing anything about it. They demand Threads from the Staff! Or maybe Staffs in a Thread?

Yes, that was what i read in the foruns. But i would love to know the official post that explains all of that. (not that i don't trust you, it's just to be sure about the subject) :)

This should be included in the FAQ if it is not (IIRC it isn't)

Ok, that helps. :)

But even so. Could you guys put on your "to do list" to make an official post about this in the anoucements or so?

And it stayed at 95% or went to 90%?

I would go further...those things should be in the FAQ, like those that are just under announcements....or in a year this is like old SG-site and you need to bookmark every information, cause you will never find it in the FAQ ;-)

If the game was in a bundle or was previously discounted to 95% or more, then it is considered a bundle game.

My rule of thumb is this: If the site is being flooded with x game, then count it bundled.

I don't believe there is an official post anywhere, and where one would be nice, I'm aware they are overworked as is so no point in pestering for something like this.

So, about 3000 games are 15 % forever ?

Pretty much, though the site counts dlc in that list as well so the number is a bit lower. There has been talk in the community about whether a game/dlc should be removed from the list after a extended period of time but there are a lot of problems that come with that. It is not much of a problem now, though it might be something worth addressing in a few years from now.

Well. there always will be new games that will count. Thanks for response.

3000 entries =/= 3000 games. It also counts DLCs, packs, different editions etc. Let's take a Hacker games as an example. Each game has been in a bundle, as well as each of the DLCs (There are 3 for 1 game, 3 for another and 6 for last one I believe). There's also versions with DLCs and something called Hacker Complete Bundle. It means that it will generate 19 entries in Bundle list (3 for games, 3 for game+DLCs, 12 for separate DLCs and one for complete), while these 19 bundle entries correspond to just 3 Games ;)

After reading the post that jatan11t sent...I'm still not sure if it is 95%, 90% or it depends of the situation....
Is there a limit? Or a game at 75/80% (for example) can get bundled if the staff intends it should be so?

I think it's pretty much based on what staff thinks is appropriate. As long as you can like buy game for few cents, but it's non discounted price is a lot bigger..
Well that's just my guess.

the standard is ≥95% off. but afaik if a game becomes dirt cheap with the regional prices and with the help of multi-packs, it might be added as well. correct me if i'm wrong but afaik that's how Takedown: Red Sabre was added to the list when it was 90% off, for example.
