Why can't you purchase packs when you already own the game?

Bought Chivalry: Medieval Warfare yesterday. Now I want to buy it for my brother and gift the rest to friends/steamgifts.

It won't let me buy the 4-pack anymore though.

There's no way I can revert this, right? Already played the game over 2 hours (no refund possible).

Annoys me.

/edit Probably have to buy single copies now. Next time I'll be more clever.

There are ways of buying 4-packs having the game on the library... i used to have the link to the reddit post where it was explained, but it was something like using the browser and the steam aplication... dont remember... probably you can find that post again on google... but the easiest way should be buying the 4pack on your brother account... :)

Well not anymore. Could buy it with an alt, but that'd be somewhat pointless as it activates one copy by default.

And it was supposed to be a present. So the suprise would be gone if I ask my brother to buy it for me. :D

maybe you could ask support and it would work with a refund, maybe they just coud remove it from your libaray (so you wasted some euros/dollars) but both will take a while.....so your last option is to buy the signle gifts ...the price-difference is not that huge
