I think the word you're looking for is "want" not "need". You need oxygen. You need food. You need water. You want video games.

I think you misunderstood what the meaning of the word need is. I understand he was a very valid reason to want it, believe you me. My point however is that he's not going to literally die if he doesn't get it, thus he doesn't need it. Needs are very basic things that we can't live without. Wants are just things that we desire to make life more enjoyable and interesting. There's a difference. Yes, I'm arguing semantics here, and nitpicking, but that doesn't mean I'm not correct.

Videos games aren't part of Maslows hierarchy of needs. You don't need it. If no one ends up getting you one, just watch some gameplay and see if it's your thing. Also, don't think you can beg here even for guest passes as far as I know. Correct me if I'm wrong.
