I had a problem with a giveaway for this game where they key turned out to be a dupe, even the one provided by IndieGala support after contacting them.

It seems other people are having issues with these keys, so refrain from making giveaways for Shakedown Racing One until the problem is solved.

Edit: I informed IndieGala about this problem and they will replace the duplicate keys. I also spoke to the developer on Steam and he is now aware of this.
The developer is willing to replace the keys if you message him. Steam thread.
It seems he deleted all the discussions, so your best bet is to contact IndieGala.

Anymore info on this? I just made a giveaway for Shakedown Racing One myself using an old Indiegala key.

I just tested my key now (using another account) and it was a duplicate......good thing I deleted my giveaway after someone warned me.

No answer from IndieGala yet. But they know about this issue and they will replace the keys.
Meanwhile I added the dev on Steam and he said there was a mixup. He gave me a key, that's why my winner has the game activated on their account.

He did not disable them. I just spoke to the dev today. Apparently there was a mixup, he didn't go into detail but I also let IndieGala know and they will solve the issue. Better send them an email.

Hm, then the guy on my giveaway was right after all. Well, rerolled it with a new key, so I guess water under the bridge now…

If the new key is from the same bundle it's still gonna be a dupe :(

Luckily, it wasn't from there and the winner already activated it. :)

Seems the dev is willing to replace if you message him, though not sure what this means now that the game has been pulled from Steam.

Busy week for removed collectors :/.

I sent message to support for a working key. I really hope they will continue to work on their game since it has already achieved sweet graphics. It just needs more gameplay content, interesting tracks and fine tuning on and maybe some music too. :)

Edit: I just got my key!

Hello, unfortunately, the game is no longer on the store and should not be available anywhere. We have no right to manage keys for this game.

So, dev sends duplicate keys, people start to complain about said keys, dev removes game, packs up and goes?

Game is not available anymore.
Those who helped with feedback and are friends remain with special status.
Unfortunately, there has been unauthorized activity with some keys for the game.
Please consider supporting the developers out there.
Thank you for playing!

From the dev. No real explanation to what's actually going on.

There was another thread where he was complaining about people selling games without his permission and he would rather give people the game for free than having others profit from his work. I assume he was referring to gray market resellers.
Still I find the way he dealt with the situation unprofessional.

Yeah. The grey market is a problem, but punishing paying customers like this is just wrong.
