Just a shame actual fruit is so terrible.... at least stuff at the stores. Nothing seems ripe, all of it is hard and sour (at least Peaches!). Apples all taste pretty bad too here. Oranges are often too dry to even try to juice (regardless of the kind you get)..... I miss fruit.

My my, where have you been shopping? Perhaps you aren't shopping at good grocery markets ... or the farms around you aren't producing very good fruit.
*edit - Oh I know! Perhaps you can grow your own fruit. Then you can enjoy the fruits of your labor and love <3

Oddly enough all the fruit produced here is shipped off to the West coast, and all the fruit produced on the west coast is shipped here... it makes no sense. (Ontario, Canada, all our fruit boxes say Grown in BC... then when I was visiting BC... I seen Grown in Ontario on most of the boxes....). We have these booths too "Valley Fresh" (or something like that) but the fruit there is so over priced it is funny... and it still isn't good. Seen they had peaches (used to love those) they looked good (you can't actually touch them yourself there to save them from getting bruised, etc.) so I bought some along with some cherries. Came to $5 for just 3 peaches .... all of them were sour and hard too... I also spent $8 for a kind of small bag of cherries (for my mother, she loves those and I was visiting her) and they tasted kind of like fish.... so yeah... not good.
I was going to pick blueberries over the weekend, but they were spraying chemicals from a plane... so I opted not to. Heard they were going to do that on the radio anyway. People in the "Blueberry Mecca" area as they called it were furious because the berries were just becoming ready for harvest and now they can't be eaten. At least wild Blueberries (not the supermarket giant trash ones) are still good.

I'd almost offer to send a crate of decent fruit, but from Europe to Canada the shipping costs would be really horrific.

I am so sorry to hear about the bad quality of the fruit and the high cost of it. I think it's sad to know that some areas don't get to experience the joys of delicious fresh produce while others reap the benefits. And to also know that some areas are sprayed with chemicals and thereby render the produce inedible or tampered with is unfair.
Over here in California, fruit is abundant. Just the other week peaches were on sale 4 lbs for $1!
I do hope you have the opportunity to go to other areas and get some fresh and better tasting fruit.

Well I can confirm from here in BC that Ontario is now few and far between. It's either local, BC, Washington / California or Mexico (with the occasional WTF are we doing bringing in stuff from Peru?).
My problem is the price for some things. Most stuff is fine but if you want, say peaches, but if they only have "organic" [as compared to stone?], chemical free, free range , bla bla bla stuff then you may as well skip filling up the tank of gas (@ $1.70/l at the moment). A small package of blueberries (maybe a cup and a half was over $15 CDN). I doubt that the farms are getting the majority of that. Which is why, for here at least, farmers markets and you-picks are the best option.
Oh and fermented grape juice is the best ... I recommend merlot or Chianti.

Do not buy every damn bundle and you will not run into as many repeats .Though i do not buy any bundle unless it has a game i want to play even so most i seen have repeats and i only knew about bundles about a year ago.
Though i do suspect most who mention or say so sad are just game collectors so yeah buying every bundle there is to add to game count is going to lead to lots of repeats.
This bundle is alright,no games i really want to play so i will pass.I never did get collecting stuff you really do not own but eh lol.At least with a box copy you owned the disc it came on,here you just have access to said content and can be edited or removed for pretty much any reason.
