Just leave a comment on the giveaway explaining what happened and ask the giveaway creator to request for a new winner. After that, it is not really your problem anymore. If you do not mark the giveaway as "received" or "not received" the giveaway will not show as a win on your account and the giveaway creator will not get credit for the giveaway until they ask support for a new winner.
If the giveaway creator wants to delete the giveaway instead of asking for a new winner, they may ask for your permission to delete the giveaway, although I don't think they would need your permission in this situation because it was a duplicate win and your already gave permission for a reroll.
Edit: I am not a mod, but I believe this is the correct thing to do.

Thank you for your reply. I requested a reroll of the giveaway. Hopefully it resolve itself. I have not revealed the won key. The next time I win a giveaway for a game that I will make sure to delete any other giveaway for the same game. I just thought it would automatically happen.

The site does automatically remove your other entries for the same game when you win and does not let you enter for games that you have already won, so I am not sure what happened. It probably has something to do with it being DLC. I know the site has some issues identifying what DLC a users owns, but I am not exactly sure what happened here. It's not a big deal though, just a simple reroll request.

that's cause of Steam and not SteamGifts. also, a little your fault. for the future, check the Steam page of each and every giveaway you're entering.
especially when it comes to DLCs, special editions and Profile Feature Limited games (there are tons of those) : SG system works flawlessly and will never let you win two same giveaways. in your case is about a DLC, something that SG can't detect, so it will let you enter even if already own.
like, it's on you "to check" if already owned. do it when giveaway is a dlc or for a game you don't know much. it will save you a little time, you'll get some additional info about the game, and Support can have an even more boring Sunday :D

icaio, you are right with what you are saying, but as far as I understood it he didn't own it before.
He just won it twice in a very short time period - he probably entered multiple GAs, won one DLC and thought SG would automatically remove all other entries of the won DLC (which it usually does with normal games at least). Later he won the same DLC in a GA he entered when he didn't own it - so not sure if you can say it's his fault.. :P

an also very secret and very unwritten rule is the one that states that if you happen to get a triple win for a DLC, you can request and apply to be part of Support staff. guessin' that is 'cause you actually know how "dlc and PFL games thing" works truly better than others...

Hi,
Today it seemed I won the same gift (a dlc atcuallly) from two different giveways. I thought this was impossible with todays giveaway system. For the latest won gift requested the donor to reroll, but I don't know if he/she can/will do it. Coould you please help? The key for the latest win is not revealed be me if that has any sing grace.
