currently I am happy because of reasons, and I feel unfair with my inactivity here, so here is little cheap bundle train (there will be some deja vu probably)

soo, basically I am very happy because most of things are going great! Maybe I do not have much time now, but I cannot complain, I guess.

okay, firstly: I created train, so one thing: be polite, if you win - just thank for the game (it's little weird that people on the Internet tell that, this is a thing that everyone should have learned in childhood)

secondly: if you wish, you can bump. I will be even happier if you bump with some good (and cheap) recipies of your favourite food, or with titles of your favourite books, or just post what you like! :D

Sherlock Holmes. Sign of four is one I reread once a year.
I tried to read a 'dedicated book" where Sherlock Holmes chases after Jack the Ripper. It was horrible...
Anyways... I'm glad to hear your life is going well. That's great! I hope things continue to go well and more good fortune goes your way!

For what it's worth, from one stranger to another: I'm glad you have reasons to be happy :) It actually made me a little bit happier to know that it's not all bad news out there in the big, big world.

Digging into my memory, I remember one of the first novels I read in English - it was Nemesis by Isaac Asimov. If you're not put off by science fiction, then you can give it a try.

And thanks for the giveaway train :)

Thank you for the ride! Here's a recipe for some cheap and delicious food, Pixar-style: Ratatouille (credit goes to Fluffster for telling me about the link -- I've made this dish before, and it's beautifully delicious).

First of all, I love seeing people happy and doing great, so congrats!

And nowww, since you asked, I want to share one of my favorite recipes. It's something people frequently prepare in my country, but I haven't seen on any English-language site - savory cake! It's one of the most delicious things in the world and it's high in protein, low in carb, mostly healthy, and very nutritious.

You can make it tricolore - with three layers of different colors, but if you can't bother, it's fine

First of all, important info, for this cake you will need a whole lotta eggs - 11 of them. 9 for the crusts and 2 for the filling.
And this recipe is complicated.

  1. For the spongy layers (if someone can help me out and give me a word for "spongy crust", that would be great):

Each layer is made from:

  • 3 eggs,
  • 3 tablespoons flour of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • Half a teaspoon baking powder
  • A bit of salt

(If you want to have different colored layers, add chopped boiled spinach to one (make sure to drain it well) and chopped tomatoes/peppers to another.)
Ideally, you should whisk the egg whites in a separate bowl and mix with the rest of the ingredients (also whisked) in the end. This will make the dough fluffy.

Bake these layers separately at 180 degrees centigrade for about 10 minutes.

  1. For the filling, finely chop the following:
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • Ham/salami/meat of your choice (250 grams will do)
  • Pickles (crucial for this recipe) - 3 or 4 (depends on their size)
  • Cream cheese (errrm, I dunno, 300 - 400 grams)
  • Two tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • Some sour cream (the amount varies depending on the consistency of the filling - if you need to make it creamier, add more sour cream).
  1. Now all that remains is to spread the filling on the three layers, decorate with grated cheddar or similar cheese and parsley.

This will take a lot of time to make, but boy is it worth it. Here's a pic of what the final result should look like.

I don't know why that came out like 1. 1. 1. instead of 1. 2. 3.

Glad to hear that things are going great for you! Here's one of my favorite recipes to celebrate: Mapo Tofu. You can omit the chili oil if you don't have it, I've done so without issue.

many good games in the train.
Being in a happy place is one of the best feelings in the world so i'm glad to see the positivity spread. I hope things stay well for a while longer for you.
Also, i'm not much a fan of books (slow reader) but i can definitely recommend space boy, a webtoon comic.

.... p.s lasagne is the best food
