But for some course I'm using my 10 year old laptop. It works, if you have quite some patience and nothing running. The battery, however, is another story

Badly it isn't just about the10y, the fact is that 10y ago I didn't bought a gaming laptop, but something I used to work with...like a 800$ laptop with a bad graphic card. Battery? I can use it just when plugged in :P
Hope I'll be able to save at least 1k in some months to buy something decent, at least to play AAA games on low settings :P

The moment i see anyone with steam libraries of 1000+ games i don't even bother trying to load their games section. i'm not sure if it ever ever loads for me, or if i'm simply too impatient to wait minutes+++ to maybe see some of the games icons load up.
i see others mention you got Bastion, Shadow Warrior, Evoland. I particularly recommend Evoland 1 and 2 for the ye olde nostalgias.
