Searching for a specific space mmo: need help

Try planetside 2 is not very space like but you can go in spaceships with friends

it's neither in space nor an MMO but you could try Guns of Icarus Online if your search is fruitless

if only star wars galaxies was still live

The only mmo like game in space where you are in a ship that i've heard of is Eve Online

You'll want to look for Artemis. I don't think it's an MMO, but it's the closest I've heard to what you want.

I don't like planetside 2, and it's not about space :p But thx again.
I tryed Guns of Icarus online like i said :p It's a litle too slow, not into space, and not mmo.
+1 for the SWG ! I only heard of it when it was stoped :'(
In Eve online you can't be more than 1 player in the ship, but it's a great game anyway ^^.
I looked into Artemis, it seems interesting, but it's not what i'm searching for, but thx again :)

I saw it in the update list for FTL and even though it isn't ready yet, it looks like an awesome spaceship sim. where everybody has their own job to do.

Star Citizen is what you're looking for. Biggest crowd-funded game of all time but it's not out yet.

Shores of Hazeron might be worth a look. It doesn't have the kind of action I think you're looking for, but it's kinda cool to be able to run ships and build cities together with friends, and there's nothing quite like that first time you go into space and your autopilot crashes you into the sun.

The only space MMO where I heard a feature like this was Black Prophecy, but that was on the list of "fake features and other lies".

Sadly, I only know Space MMO's where you fully control the ship by yourself...
