Let's say i have killing floor, i want the dlc, so i buy the bundle. However i dont own any of those dlc, what will happen?

if the killing floor your about to activate (with dlc) is a gift copy it will give you an extra copy of the base game. but if the killing floor is a bundle link or code you will not receive the base game as extra.

if this does not make sense just read other comments

No, no extra copy activating Killing Floor Bundle, as I know. See also here. Some guest pass only.

Anyway, every time you active a gift, you have a dialog window to confirm the activation, and that warns you what comes with that gift.
