I'm not sure about how happy these bands sound so I didn't mention them in my first post, but if you like indie you might also want to look into The Shins, The New Pornographers, LCD Soundsystem, Franz Ferdinand, Andrew Bird, Broken Social Scene, MGMT, Passion Pit (I should have said their song Little Secrets earlier, it's pretty happy), and Japandroids (really loving the songs Adrenaline Nightshift and The House that Heaven Built right now).
