Game disappeared

So I was browsing my library and turns out Dota 2 is missing.... It was never deleted, and when I went to the store page it says game is already in library. It is also not hidden, I've verified it. So I went to the store page and click play and it tells me to download dota 2 again. But.... now it says on the download page discovering existing files for Dota 2. Is this normal?

Free games aren't listed if not installed.

but it's been installed since last year. I've never deleted it
