Because I generally dislike RL socialising as well, I'm more comfortable with doing it online. ;)

too lazy and dont care enough about this game to bother making an account on there
dont bother with twitch to begin with even as a stray/guest viewer (does that make sense to you? i cant figure out a way to explain it, its getting late heh)
i only like seeing those gifs/mini vids of twitch sluts or funny high light clips that pop up in other sites
but watching it on twitch itself is a waste of my time :p

yeah but does it "use" it ? i mean i got a very shitty connexion and uploading on twitch is only possible with the worst quality ever, and will utterly destroy my online gameplay on it (and all other online game if i ever try to stream on twitch)

Well, you don't need to actually stream it, you just need an account. That is where they will sync your data. As long as there's other people streaming online, you don't need to be the one streaming. Can't really advise on whether it 'uses' it or not, you'll have to try it out and see.

It's because this game is more for a streamers. It's made so viewers can (and even should) integrate with broadcaster so they play together.

The game require twitch because in side the game there are have a bunch of random surprise events and shit that got trigger by viewers. Basically when you play the game , viewers can type and use cmd in chat windows to trigger some random shit and screw you over or benefit you.

Game also have a bunch of viewers events such as: bingo, betting,.... The game was made with twitch, broadcaster and viewers in mind so it's not just a game

No problem, thank you for the information, it makes a bit more sense, I just don't think it should be forced as some people don't want to stream but may want to play it. You also may not be a popular streamer to get viewers interacting with you lol

Well, I mean, it does sync your progress to your account. You don't actually need to stream to play it, unless there's no one who's streaming the game. Just jump into one of the games that's open (IIRC, in-game it will tell you who's streaming it and give you the option to join their game, but I haven't fired it up in a while.)
Also, you don't necessarily need to be a popular streamer to have fun with the game. From personal experience, even having a few is plenty enough. There's a somewhat dedicated group of people that also joins some matches randomly to play with even the smaller streamers, at least that's what I experienced in my case. :)
