Yup, that's the way it works :) I see you already have some giveaways open - you'll hit level 1 as soon as someone wins one of them, receives it and marks it as "received".

This happens sometimes, either because of a price change in a game or because of a bug. I don't know which of these is your case.

I have been level 1 for quite some time, and was around 1.90 in contributor value, but suddenly I am 2.00, and level 2, without giving away a game since april? I don't want to get accused of messing with the system, not sure was it a price increase of a game I gave away or a bug? I'll restrain from entering level 2 giveaways until someone confirms that this wasn't a bug but a late gift from santa claus.
