Well, if you're lucky they might also appreciate in value. Like that Gaea's Cradle I have somewhere. ...although selling that still wouldn't cover what I paid for the rest originally, so yeah.

And i know what you mean, when i feel down i find someone on my friendlist to gift a wishlisted game to and it really does cheer you up when you know you made someone smile for the day or made their crappy day abit better.

I managed to hold out for almost 18 months since I said farewell. OK, I may have cheated a bit in the meantime with some minor giveaways. And Christmas. But overall I've stayed away from the site.
But I'm feeling a little down at the moment, and the only way I know that's sure to cheer me up is if I can make someone else a little happier. So, without further ado, have a game on me. Open for 8 hours, get it while it's hot.
