Wait? What? You mean this has already been suggested? I don't recall seeing it in the 3 months I've used the site. (well the 2 months I've been on the forums)

If someone really wants a game from any giveaway sooo bad then he should buy it. That easy and problem solved.
LOL at your suggestion to refund points. Like you are paying real money to enter any of these.

Meh, I don't see the point in the site then if thats the attitude you have. By your logic people will only come here and win stuff they don't really care about.
Besides, it doesn't solve the problem. I know in the past I've entered multiple giveaways for the same game because for me, that game at the time was the only one really worth winning... So I'll spend my points to win it.

I don't see the point of your begging suggestions.
For me, on this site I enter only the games I would really enjoy to play or would eventually buy one day.
People like you think this site is for hording games.

No? I enter giveaways for games I would like to win you dumb fuck... Not hoarding.

If the person then finds that the giveaway was a fake / etc. they can simply re-enter themselves for the open giveaways. Here you may cry that if the user only finds it is a fake after a few days, the other giveaways will have closed... But, given that there was multiple open giveaways in the first place, chances are new giveaways will be opening in soon anyway.

Or, if you win multiple copies of the same game, just make a support ticket and have the extra giveaways be rerolled.
Problem solved, and without any of the "I won a fake giveaway and lost all my entries in the other giveaways that expired five minutes after the giveaway I won" drama that'd happen in your proposed method.

I doubt it would be very hard to code at all... Just need to check - game won? Yes, further giveaways entered? Yes, remove entries. At any point if the answer is no, just skips the code. I'd say it would be easier than most of the other coding on here.

The person giving it should just reroll it, you should not put it up yourself.

No, it's not another 'allow 1 user multiple entries to a giveaway' thread...
Lets assume someone really wants a common game on here, or one that regularly has more than one running giveaway. This person can then go ahead and enter all running giveaways to the end of his / her points.
Now lets say the user wins one of these giveaways and, currently, the user will remain entered into the other giveaways for the same game - and it is against site rules to win or enter by any means a giveaway for a game you already own. This person could then (by pure random chance, and a slim chance at that) win a 2nd giveaway for the game, say overnight (s)he may win one giveaway, then before they have chance to see the site and remove themselves from all the other giveaways for the game, they may win one of their other entered giveaways.
My suggestion is that when a user wins a copy of the game, the site automatically removes them from all giveaways for that game and refunds their points, as manually removing yourself would.
