gleam.io soft idea

I saw this:

(Which is BTW great tool) And I thought about similar tool but you give the link to it + logging in via Steam. And it's automaticly (or after clicking special buttom) joining all missing steam groups, you take the key, and clicking the same buttom to leave all this groups again:)

I do not know how hard it will be for someone to create but what I see is that we have many tallented programmers there and maybe someone will find it easy and help whole community:)!

Should be doable. I never really looked into this myself though, but someone that knows how to script stuff like that should be able to make it.

don't do it.
First it will be used by massive traders to get dozens of keys using alt accounts. Then gleam.io will be forced to change its structure, either we won't see any more promo giveaways like that or it will get even harder to do the tasks (captchas etc).

gleam.io doesn't care. They get their money when those groups pay to make those giveaways. Also it's possible to add captchas.

If those groups see all users are getting the keys and leaving the group immediately and they run out of keys 10x faster compared to before, they will either stop using gleam.io or ask for additional bot checks.
I am pretty sure if such a script is made it will be widely used. Pretty much 90% of SG users and 100% of traders will use it.

I'd use it to get rid of 12 Digital Homicide groups in my group list for sure lol

Probably it can be fully automated and combined with gleam.io database. So that once you enter your details it checks for new giveaways every 10 minutes, enters the giveaways automatically and gives you the keys. You don't need to do anything, not even follow the Deals posts or click anything.

but site itself is authomaticed only in joining STEAM GROUPS you must click and if you talking about dozens of alt accounts you will need that many steam acc twitter acc facebook acc insta acc....etc so i still think it wont happen, and all this "visit link" and "watch video"

It's not possible. Steam doesn't allow you to give any permissions to your account.

Edit: Userscripts would be possible tho.

this sounds like the kind of behavior that makes both the site of those using it for promos reconsider their approach, and add more annoying steps to avoid exploiters.

for instance they can add a delayed group check. If you are still a member of the X group after 1 day the key will be emailed to you, otherwise you will get nothing.
Or add a captcha for each step to confirm you are not a script/bot
