do you like free Steam Stickers

It depends on the sticker. I actually use a few of them in chat, though most have not use outside of just showing off or trying to get someones attention in chat.
Out of the 98 (currently) stickers I have. I use about 7-10. Mostly thumbs up and reaction stickers. Like have a "Commander Shepard" sticker of her rolling her eyes. Some heart reaction and excited ones. Though the one I use in almost every chat to say Hi or Bye with is a waving cat paw. It's cute! :D

I'm sure you know how antsy people here get when Volvo is threatening to take away their free 3 cents (1 cent after market fee).
You're acting as if anything has changed - which hasn't. There were NEVER badges and free Trading cards for any of the smaller sales just for Summer and Winter sale so business as usual.
Edit: I just don't wanna see threads popping up all next week "Valve took away my free Spring Sale Trading card rage" 😆😄

as if I have ever had any idea how they worked...
Last time I checked there were daily deal and flash sales, then Lord Gaben came and said "no no no" and now there's no daily deals and flash sales. only fixed prices the whole sale. So they do change. And I surprisingly, even to me have life aside from steam and don't follow every Valve's employee on twitter and read everyone's blog to stay on top of any news 24/7 so would that kill them to drop an easily accessible FAQ explaining all the ins and outs of the current sale for all the casuals out there?

Yeah.. I've only been semi-active the last ~ 2 years as well and missed a lot of the smaller events like all 3 Next fests but what I'll always remember is
"Save your badge crafting for Summer & Winter sale because then you'll get a free card instead of those pointless coupons. And also free cards from the queue." 😅

Sorry for the late reply. As Devirk said, I'm just referencing a character from Fallout: New Vegas with the same name. He's quite memorable, as his backstory is quite... something. Below is a bit of dialogue from the game about how Fantasic became chief scientist working to reactivate a solar power plant to illustrate the point :p
The Courier: "How did you get this job?"
Fantastic: "It was easy, man. They were going door to door asking if anyone knew any scientists. I said look no further. They asked me if I knew anything about power plants. I jusr ran my discovery queue, hoping to get a trading card. Apparently that's not a thing anymore! Hey, there are some stickers?! That was never a thing. Only Summer and Winter sale have free Trading cards through the discovery queue. And it's been like that for... probably a decade?

oh, on top of that, since we talk in multiple paraller posts at the same time, why not, didn't they mess w/ the discovery queue cards as well? I'm pretty sure there used to be like 3 in the past but they've dropped it to only one last... summer(?)
also, I don't think Discover Queue's been out for a decade, so it probably wasn't like that for a decade...
