Nah, the game just didn't sell enough so they are trying to hook people by giving free dose of her... multiplayer part of the game :) I preordered the game and have all the dlcs for it but haven't even launched it once. I know, stupid :D Should play games more since I have a huge backlog of games to play through.

Bet they realised how boring a multiplayer they made, it gets tedious doing the same thing over the same maps (3 maps in total, 4 with the dragon update) and their random dungeons arent that random, after 2-3 runs on the same map, you basically get everything memorized. :P

Oh wow. Well, bought it for singleplayer anyway so not a big thing that the mp sucks. I remember that I was a bit surprised about the mp because the previous games didn't have any. Is the singleplayer part still good enough to play through couple of times with different characters / decisions?

The story is amazing, but they kinda pooped on the ending, final boss fight is weak. Also I didn't like some of the maps, yes they are huge but they are the most empty maps in the history of gaming (desert maps, yuck), and you just have to grind past the sidequests in the first area which might take a few hours (basically boring fetch or kill quests).
They also limit your movement, there are areas that are too high level for you, thus making you do sidequests as a necessity, guess they had to stretch their game out even more lol.
If you wanna do everything and check every corner of the maps you will get roughly 150 hours from the game.
The story is well worth playing it a second time with different decisions and characters, you just have to slug through the game mechanics, personally didn't want to invest that much time into the game again to see a different ending, I just wikied the alternate results/choices.
PS: Don't forget to import your decisions from Dragon Age 1 and 2 through the Dragon Age Keep site.

The Dragon Age Keep was a very good decision to put in. Was almost baffled how they managed to come up with that ;D Helps really nice if you want to see effects of different paths without playing earlier games and keeping saves.

I don't dare to download it. I might like it enough as to actually feel the need to buy it, or I might get so far into it that I don't want to restart the game when I finally get it and just be confused by the story (as I don't remember what's been going on) and quit because of that.

I'm a huge fan of the Dragon Age series, but this one disappointed me. Even upgraded my PC to play it, but I can't play an entire hour of it. It's just a terrible console port (even with they saying that the game as made for PC gamers) that's more like a MMORPG with the fetch quests.
