You can try Humble support and tell the recipient made a mistake with the email. Specially if the game wasn't redeemed.

I am still waiting on 2 tickets I sent to Humble support, the first one was roughly 2 months ago... They were fast, but unless I am an odd case, they aren't exactly fast now. Actually they are the slowest I have seen (after Steamgifts support :P)

He checked the spam/trash? Isn't there a re-send email button that he can click? (I can't quite remember if there is one or not, but it's worth a shot)

yeah, he'll have to click that, and it will show up if he has entered in the correct email ^-^

I'm confused. Can't you simply send him the link to the HB leftover via chat for example?

Exactly, I don't see the problem then, though? or maybe I'm just a little stupid right now

Well, your best option indeed would be to tell Humble support your gift recipient filled in a wrong e-mail and hope they will reply fast.
Alternatively, have you considered the option your trader got the e-mail already but not activated the game for himself? It might be for a friend of his, or for retrade. If he didn't complain, he most likely got what he was after.
In any case, it is not your fault, if you provided him with a real Humble bundle gift link, you aren't doing anything wrong. You help him figure this out, and I am sure it is manageable, at the very least with the help of support.

Yeah I plan on doing if he doesn't get the email by tonight.
I did consider that. I guess I'll have to ask later on. If not, we'll get it worked out. I'm new to the trading scene and quite an anxious person, so when an issue like this arose, I wasn't sure what to do lol. But thanks!

Yesterday I got a game from a Humble Bundle link and I didn't get a mail right away too.
I tried to re-send, there is indeed a function that mails you all your Humble Bundle games, and nothing happened in that moment.
Few hours later I got both mails at the same time, I hope this case is the same.

Hello. Last night I made a trade with someone where they exchanged a key and a game gift for a Humble Bundle leftover of mine. I stated in my trade thread that I was not going first unless they had 20+ rep, and the guy was willing to do so after I showed him a screenshot of the game on Humble Bundle. After he gave me the key and game, I immediately gave him the gift link to the game. A couple of minutes later, he told me that he had not gotten the email yet for the gift. I confirmed with him about stuff like typing his email incorrectly, or using a different email, and he was sure that wasn't the case. Half an hour later, it still hasn't arrived (at least, that's what he claims). We both agreed that it was just being delayed.
The next day I looked at his game list and he still has not redeemed the game. I really want to trust this guy because he seems like a nice person, so for now I'd like to rule out the possibility that he's lying to me. In the event that he accidentally typed the wrong email, am I obligated to compensate him for it? If I was the one who made the error, I wouldn't hesitate to compensate, but he was the one who possibly did. I highly doubt that there was some sort of error in the Humble Bundle system that prevented him from getting his key/delayed the email, unless someone can say otherwise?
