Hello. With the recent release of the DLC and sale on Steam, I noticed that there have been traders selling the game here for 3 keys, or $6. I found it suspicious how the price was really low, basically half the price of the current sale. The traders have claimed that their copies were bought from the chinese store (not sure which one) and are ROW keys so the low price might make sense. I just want someone to confirm that these keys are safe, and are not from some key reseller or something. I'm quite new to the trading scene, so I don't know much about foreign markets.

EDIT: I think I misunderstood. They were gifts after all. I managed to get mine for 2.5 keys :)

These should be Steam gifts, not keys.
Don't trade for a key, trade for a gift, get it from a trader with a lot of positive feedbacks, and if they add you make sure it's the real guy and not an impersonator

So I should only trust them if they're Steam gifts from the Steam store? I was thinking that they got the keys from a chinese website like Nuuvem or Gamersplanet where they give you keys. The traders have quite a decent amount of positive rep, from 20 to 100.

EDIT: Turns out they were gifts. Nevermind.

Oh yeah I was aware of that. I used Nuuvem as an example for websites that sell keys at prices lower than the norm. Was saying that there might have been a chinese version of that. But then again, I guess them being foreign stores make their prices cheaper.

EU tier 2 default price for Talos Principle is 20 euro
With discount now it's 6,8 euro

3k is about right.

Not enough of course. If some person buy game in EU2 store and pay for it 6.8 euro and then take 3 TF2 keys and then try recover money on wallet selling those keys on market, he/she can earn from keys max 2 euro per key (when Steam take fees, so it's 2 x 3 =6 euro). So as you can see 3 keys can't be enough even if it's about CS:GO keys...

Yeah, I got one that I believe was sourced from EU2 on Friday. Cost me 3.9 on dispenser.tf, 3 would be too cheap for one of those.

Chinese ones are now up on there for 3.

I see it's $ 5 only in the Chinese Steam Store. I don't know, but apparently China has no regional lock, so it should be safe if you find a reliable trader.

i am from china, Talos Principle is $14.99 on steam, yes it s half price than US. now with -66% off it is $5.09.
in fact, all Croteam games are half price. eg. Serious Sam 3 sells $39.99 in US, $19.99 in china.
and not just Croteam's game. GTAV is also half price in china, that's about $30.
so far as i know, there are no chinese website sells keys, so steam gifts are more trustable.

That is reassuring. Foreign Steam is amazing. Thank you!

And yes apparently I misunderstood. Everyone was trading gifts instead of keys.

but GTA:V and valve games aren't giftable from here. We can only buy them for ourselves.
You're safe with Talos though.

I bought it 2 days ago on Nuuvem for 7.1 EUR (I had to use VPN). It's freaking good in my opinion, but it's a biased one since I totally love the base game :)
