Time freeze gun. Who/whatever is hit gets frozen in time for a predefined period of time or until hit again. Handgun-size would be a bonus, firerate is probably not that important.

Err.. also something that intrigues me, you know those "old fashioned" pistols where the magazine goes under the receiver rather than inside the grip? So yeah, one of those but the magazine is like M60 ammo... lots and lots of ammo... and the barrel itself is silenced... Oh, and the pistol has a sniper scope and no recoil.

I think in guns, it's actually smaller = cooler. The big clunky ones just seem compensating for something.
