I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole if someone paid me so no I don't think it's an ok game but that's true of about 80% of games on Steam at this point.

The word is scam, not scum

Scam = manipulation to extract money
Scum = bad person

Also, the game looks bad, but still like a real game. Might be an asset flip, but the dev makes different horror games each 6 months, so they might just like the style

The main thread is the pinned giveaway's area? If it is, this game is there because all the giveaways with 50 or more copies go there.

You are complaining about the quality of games given away? Well, you can always give away (better) games for a positive change.

From the FAQ:

our site will automatically feature giveaways on our homepage if they contain 50 copies of a game or greater, and if they're ending within four days

Quality of the given away games is not considered by Steamgifts (same as by you).

I don't see any malice in what's going on. The only way to get scammed in this situation is to expect getting fun from playing the game after winning.

That's why you should always check what kind of game it is before entering the giveaway.
Are you really going to play it?
I recommend doing this to everyone =)

True, can agree. If you are here for the games to be played - it is always better (or even critically important) to stay vigilant and triple check unknown titles :)
