So hey guys! I need some help, I'm trying to dual boot Win 7 and 8, I've made a new partition where I want to install Windows 8.1, I've downloaded the preview version from Microsoft's site (ISO file), I've burned it to a DISC, I've restarted the computer and selected the Disk as 1st boot device and it just doesn't work, windows 7 starts normally, however I heard you can do it with USB too, how can I make a bootable USB ? I've checked google and it didn't really help, hopefully some1 is able to help me here.. thanks :)

you can make a bootable usb with the official microsoft usb/dvd tool, it works for windows 7 and windows 8. http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Did you specifically burn it as an image or just put the .iso file into the CD?

I've burned it as an image. (I guess)

The Iso is extraced on the DVD
