Hotline Miami is damn nice.
E.Y.E. is fun, but kinda confusing.

GTA3 hasn't aged well at all. I would recommend avoiding it. VC is much better.

I think u should go for Vice city its an experience u shouldnt miss

Vice City gives me goosebumps whenever I install it from a nostalgia attack and play it for a few hours. Such a great game.

GTA3 and VC are classic videogames. Both very good and each has its own beautiful atmosphere.

E.Y.E. is a very interesting cyberpunk RPG with lots and lots of different abilities.

Hotline Miami is just good at everything: music, graphic style, gameplay. Although it still needs fixes here and there, I recommend it as well.

I wouldn't really know what to pick if I were you. At the moment I'm playing Hotline Miami and I love it so much, so I guess I'd stick with it. But it depends on you: if you like good RPG games

E.Y.E. is interesting, but highly flawed. If you are one of those who love to play something different, and can look past the flaws, then this one might be for you, otherwise stay way. Lots of content in this one, and worthy of multiple playthroughs.

Hotline Miami is fun and very "to the point". The story is not all that important in this one, instead it offers some fast paced and rather challenging action. Short though (steam says 3h, and I've beaten the game, though I've not unlocked all weapons).

And as for the GTA games, if you are going to get one of them, get Vice City, it is more fun. As Xkhaoz said, GTA 3 has not aged all that well (and it is not even all that old!), and while Vice City is a similar game, the way it is presented just makes it "feel" more fresh and interesting.

Far Cry 2 or The Witcher are good 10 dollar games

I would say Vice City but it keeps getting cut content so it might skew people's perception. EYE is rather good and messed up.

Vice City and GTA3 in the first place. Honestly, i prefer VC.

Hotline Miami in second.

Get GTA 3, Vice City's too much details are ugly as hell on 1080p and your screen will look like you put oil on it.

I don't have opinions about other games because i don't know them.

Why not GTA San Andreas? Better graphic, bigger more interesting world, also much longer story. VC and 3 are also very good games but pretty old(if you never had GTA game maybe you start with newer and if you like buy older ones).
If you can wait sale im sure you can get GTA games very cheap price(last year Summer and Winter sale was GTA Complete Pack 7.49€(GTA 3/VC/SA/4/Episodes from Liberty city).
Dont know anything about Hotline Miami, not my type game.
E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy looks interesting but have problems(made by small company not very polished etc), watch reviews and try demo.

If you wait to sale, you can buy whole gta complete pack for 10 dollars.

Vice city is awesome. the 80s music, cars and flare...its great. besides there are some really great texture mods out there to make the graphics even better. for me one of the best gta games ever. of course gta2 was the best one ;)

Do not pay $10 for any of those games. You can get them much cheaper during the sales.

Wait till sales. But as a matter of fact, VC is nicer than GTA3. Still, if you want to get GTA, buy whole pack. Hotline Miami is plain awesome. With E.Y.E. well, there's whole new story. First, it's obviously unfinished; got spelling errors everywhere and such. Second, you must be absolutely in love with post-cyberpunk and/or WH40k to enjoy it. Then, and with a partner it's pretty good.

Vice City is one of my favourites. If you can wait until the spring/summer sale, you'll be able to pick up the GTA Complete Pack for ~$10.
