It wasn't for swearing on Skype, it was for swearing on a recorded video and uploading it for all to see with Upload. The later was viewed and noted.

Reportedly Xbone Users Banned for Swearing on Skype and Upload Studio
Also if you are unaware, ever since M$ took over skype, there is no longer any encryption and your chat is stored on a server. Also any link you post in the chat will be accessed by this server. So if you care about your privacy... don't use skype.
