Wanted to see how much would a "complete your collection" type bundle cost if I were to redeem a few of the games from it, but I seem out of luck trying to find such a calculator. Does anyone know a reliable tool or way to figure out how much would I be discounted if I owned certain games from bundles?

I don't know any but you can calculate it yourself. Just add up the prices(after individual discount, if any) of items you don't own and multiply the discount of the bundle.
You can/should test it with someone who owns something and compare them.

However, your idea is great. I want that function too. Maybe we need a script for that.

Those always seemed pretty random to me. Didn't know there's an actual formula.

Really? Have you tested some bundles with someone before? Maybe we can test it on some bundles later if you want.

Thought I missed something when no one answered because it seemed so simple. Its just your cost minus the cost of each game you redeem :)

Your total cost is already at bottom of the bundle page. And dicounted price is next to the indivudual games. No point in manually adding anything like AxJ said. The discount can change depending on indivudual discounts of each games so no point in making it harder then it has to be. Just look at the actual discounted price and subtract.

If I understand correctly, I thought what Soulitaire really wants is to know what's the final price of the bundle IF he/she redeemed some items. And in this case, you have to multiply the discount of the bundle if any.

More precise explanation:
a = Bundle price
b = Total price of individual items that you don't own(shown on the bundle page)
c = Total price of items about to be redeemed(after individual discount, if any)
d = The discount(%) of the bundle

Two ways to calcute it:
1) a - c * d
2) (b-c) * d
= final discount price of the bundle without items about to be redeemed.

And welcome anyone to test/correct this.

Oh, your right. I knew it probably wasnt as easy as I thought and shouldnt had written before going to bed while being tired, didnt think about that you still had to multiply the bundle discount :)

I just woke up so you can correct if this is wrong too.

The easiest thing should be to check at the bottom where it says individual price of the items you dont have. Substract the discounted price of every game you want to redeem and then multiply with the bundle discount :)

Happy cakeday btw.

Thanks!
And don't worry, I have the same reaction at the first time! And then I changed my conclusion in the middel of writing my comments.
I think your method is working too! I'll add it to my explanation above.

No problem. If you find any bundle to be tested, I'd be glad to help anytime.
