I would like to suggest you that if you are trying to buy the game for the winner through steam, choose the regional restriction preferably only your country UK while creating GA. You might have to deal with lot of trouble because of the winner's and yours regional price differences of the game.
More preferably stay out of buying gifts from Steam , if you have no idea about it.

And do not create threads for every GA you make. Specially when the GA is public. Everyone can see the GA you have created.
You are doing a nice thing, but you are also spamming the discussion forums. Only open GA thread it the GA is private/invite only.

And if you have gone through the FAQ, there is something called Blacklist and whitelist. You could collect blacklist if you start unnecessary threads.

Thank you for creating the giveaway, though you won't need to post every giveaway here. This is the Discussion area, and public giveaways will appear automatically under the Giveaways area in the upper left.

However, you will see some people post giveaways under the General category of discussions. These are giveaways that don't show up under the Giveaways area - people chose the "private" option when they created the giveaway, so the link to enter is only visible when you are given the link. People do this to create puzzles or trains (linked giveaways that take you from one to the next) or tables (a list of giveaways in one comment). They'll often do this to raise awareness of a charity, advertise a web site or channel, celebrate their anniversary on the site (their 'cake day'), or highlight some other discussion. The odds are better since people don't see it under Giveaways, only under the discussion, and it gives people a way to stimulate and reward community participation.
