Hell yeah. I think the lowest I've seen DOOM on Steam and other big sites is £8.30, and that was Humble during a sale, plus the monthly subscriber discount. Gonna get this game off my wishlist now <3
I can't help but wonder if they accidentally put the games in the wrong place, like maybe they intended the recent release to be in the expensive tier, not the other way around.

it would make more sense for me, i think most people would think the 2016 game is more valuable than doom 3. ^^

The Humble Monthly games are revealed tomorrow, and DOOM might be the next featured game.
But they might correct this bundle if it was an error before the monthly bundle rotates.

I honestly don't think it's an error and that you're safe waiting. I expect DOOM will be $10 in the Winter Sale as well.
On the other side of the coin, for $10, it's a LOAD of fun and money well spent (meaning you wouldn't be disappointed getting it now). :D

Parts of me wish they also bundled Doom 3 NotRuinedByBethesda Edition (after all, as a small miracle and probably due to the persistance of id Software, they are selling it), but luckily it goes on sale for a good price often enough.

Nah, just the BFG edition reminded me when I tried it. It was not a pleasane experience after I spend quite a few hours on the original Doom 3. Still, we at least have Doom 4, it is awesome.

Could you enlighten me on the difference? I have doom 3 on xbox but have considered getting it on pc and it'd be good to know which version to get.

A few small changes, but the biggest game changers are that now the flashlight is shoulder-mounted, so you can use it with any weapon, and they also added a lot more light sources and upped the gamma a lot, so the game is a lot brighter, so you can now see everything, essentially removing all the horror bits and reducing it to a simple shooter. Granted, it complies more with the wide demographic who apparently found the "switch from flashlight to gun and try to remember for 3 picoseconds where the enemies were" mechanic too confusing.
