Much to my own surprise (I thought I joined last July) my cake day came and nearly went without my notice, save for the multiple well-wishers.

My coffers are nearly empty so I was going to wait until my peasants were taxed nigh unto death but I just dissolved the monasteries and plundered their riches returned their wealth into the hands of the people, of course.

My belt holds up my pants and my pants have belt loops that hold up the belt. What the fuck’s really going on down there? Who is the real hero?

'I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughnut. I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I'll just give you the money, and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I just can't imagine a scenario where I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. Some skeptical friend: "Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut! I got the documentation right here...oh, wait it's at home...in the file...under "D".'

Did my ear just now overhear a quote most clear from King Lear of Shakespearer to mark your year on this site here? Now bring on the beer and be of good cheer, for it does appear, we have naught to FEAR!

Have you seen the version with Sir Ian McKellan? It takes place in an alternate history and the costuming is more akin to 18th or 19th century Western and Eastern Europe, but it is still unmistakably the bard:)

:) I finally got around to watching David Tennant and Sir Patrick Stewart in the modern-day version of Hamlet.I was hesitant because I was afraid I'd just see "Ten playing Hamlet" even though I'd enjoyed David in Broadchurch and knew he was a tremendous actor.
Very glad I did, one of my favorite performances of the role.
