Is it normal or unusual to be sent on a trip out of country in the third week of your new job?
Well, at the moment you cover 100 % of all bumps. So thanks for that. Would be happy if some more people would comment like answering the bonus question or congratulate me or talk about the missing questions.
Not sure if I should be surprised that the anime covers have been found this fast. Especially the Haruhi stuff is a leap from the original. And to bad I couldn't integrate the other two games. They would have proven difficult as well ^^

I know it is much but I've learned about 5 languages so far too bad I don' use them and except English I already forgot everything and all of them where somehow magical in its own way :) Plus learning languages helps to develop yorself in many ways, it's awesome! :D
Please take some photos while you'll be in Vegas and share them with us, it would be sooooo cool :D

Its completely based on the job but some relatives of mine have had the need to travel to other countries, but here its mostly like experience tours of other work places or to take courses. I would imagine if you are really qualified for your job, you could get sent out of country for some job things, but it depends on the job after all.
Also about languages i currently know only 3 languages and 1 of them slightly, but i would want to learn Japanese(obviously ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) cuz weeb).

If you are not asian native already than learning one of those languages will be really difficult. During my study a co-student said he stopped his Japanese course because he needed to learn more for the course than for the rest of the study. He was probably exagerating. Still ......

I guess it's mostly luck :)
I quickly scanned the soundtrack library on my hard drive for suitable games and started with Valkyria Chronicles. HMH2 was the second game I checked. If I didn't have it stored locally, I probably wouldn't have found it because youtube is less convenient for a quick pass through a large playlist.

I would love to learn japanese. (yeah, obvious reasons, I guess ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Question 10 sounds sooooo familiar but I just can't put my finger on it.
Well, there is only one country in the world which I have even the faintest of interest in visiting and that's Japan, so I'll have to go with Japanese. Really helps that there are a lot of influential companies to the video game industry there so it has a lot of potential in the job department too.

Heh, I knew I could count on you recognizing that one tune ^^ I even took one of the easier ones from Chibi. Let me quickly check your library ..... and according to your library it is unlikely you will recognize any of the two missing tunes.

Happy early birthday and have a good trip aboard ;)

Ye i feel you, I went a week to barcelona at the beginning of the month and didn't have any gaming done. But on the plus side, you get to travel and you'll have time for playing later, the backlog is going nowhere.

Barcelona is another cool city. I think if I ever (finally) make some private vacation trips spain will be on the top of the list. Yea, backlog is going nowhere. Still it is a bit frustrating and after the buisness trip I still have to get the apartment done ..... but latest in may I should be back on track. And being busy is not that bad at all ^^

Barcelona and overall Catalonia is my favorite part of Spain. I love that there is both sea and mountain a few hours apart and you can enjoy both. Plus there is a lot of great things to see, both architecture/art wise AND amazing natural areas.
And I'm sure you'll manage to settle once you get back. It just seems overwhelming sometimes when everything happens at once.

Small bonus question: Was/Is there a language you always wanted to (re)learn? If yes, which one?
I first studied Latin, but dropped it for Spanish in high school, but never mastered either.
I did a couple years of Japan in college, but forgot most of it while living in Japan (I taught English 15 hours a day and never used Japanese), as well as a year of ASL.
I helped my mom go through Pimsleur's Swahili (she needed a foreign language to fulfill a job requirement).
I did a course on Mandarin at one of those free online university deals, as well as the HelloChinese and ChineseSkill apps. Very much like Duolingo.
Currently studying Italian on Duo with my friends and family, which is great because we have started using bits when we're together. Also doing French on Duo but don't recommend two so similar languages at once. It's very confusing!
So, all languages, eventually. That's the plan.

Indeed, I'm seriously considering dropping French until I finish Italian. Then doing French for Italian Speakers later, as a way to learn French but also keep up Italian skills.
I haven't dropped it yet, but the next time I lose my Duo streak, it will probably happen.

Seems like you have a grasp on a lot of different languages O.o That would confuse me to no end. And even something difficult like mandarin or japanese. From the romanic languages spanish was the only one ever piking my interest.
Also it is a bit strange that you forgot japanese while being in japan although it makes sense the way you described it.

I was having a look at the "bonus puzzle for hint." I'm certain I know the second game, but the puzzle doesn't accept it. Could you check for typos, please?
And good luck with the job!
(Bonus answer: I once started learning Quenya. I wouldn't mind picking that up again.)

Yes, you need the name of the song not of the game. If you have the right game you should find it pretty fast.. Had to look up what Quenya is. This reminds me for a story someone once told me. Apparently if you study informatics you have to learn some fantasy language like klingon or quenya (probably only in some of the german universities).

Happy Birthday :)
Small bonus question: Was/Is there a language you always wanted to (re)learn? If yes, which one?
Too many to list, but apparently I don't want to learn them badly enough since I'm not good at any foreign language yet :(
If I have to pick one, as a weeb I'd say Japanese then.

Well, I always considered the asian languages to be more difficult than the european ones so I didn't even try it. Only know some simple words from different sources but I would probably not understand it if someone spoke them to me in a complete sentence.

Well, always wanted to do a music puzzl.e Since I will travel to America on the 19th of march (for my new job) it will be a rather short timeframe. So it will end already on march 18th on my special day. Due to the probably rather unknow stuff and the short time I made it as a group puzzle. So it is also okay to discuss in the comment section here. Further instructions are present in the ITH. Luckily for you (due to strange problems with Chirbit) there will only be 10 questions present instead of 12 or even 13.
Well have fun finding the songs
Small bonus question: Was/Is there a language you always wanted to (re)learn? If yes, which one?
Did I forget something? Hm, at the moment there are 5 giveaways (ranging from level 2-4) so it is not to much. Maybe something else will be added later. Wouldn't count on it though .....
Everything else I forgot will be edited later or tomorrow. And now start. Time is short.
EDIT: You know .... you are allowed to use the comment section ^^
EDIT: I'm surprised how many threads about people having birthday on 18th of march we have this year. I think I was alone last year (not that I really made a thread about it last year -_- Also I will probably make another really small puzzle this evening for hints for the main puzzle ^^ It will be really hard to get these last answers if you haven't played the games.
EDIT: Well, there is still some time left so have a bonus puzzle for the hint. Two new songs. If you solve them you will get a strong hint for the last missing piece in the main puzzle
Have more fun
