...are there really no rules to be part of this group? Even a newcomer like myself can join? We don't have to be at a certain level or have a certain amount of giveaways? Can evil-doers join the group as well?
Sorry, I'm not used to seeing Steamgifts groups that have to rules or requirements. I think I'll join.

You are absolutely allowed to join. The only big guidelines are not to be evil to others (you are allowed to be secretly evil :p) and if you want to do a giveaway through the group and have the entries go towards a charity you need to collaborate with me first :)

I have not been. Often I find that when others make giveaways for the group they include a few other groups as well. I am open to collaborating with people, but I have never been approached, other than when people want to give me a key or two to giveaway.

Greetings!
You might have already heard about this group, but if you have not, let me be the first to introduce to it. I am the creator of the Do-Gooders Gaming group, which is all about giving games to you and supporting charities. With every 8 entries for a DG-G giveaway, a cent goes towards a charity. That might seem a little small, but it adds up. In the last month, $40 went collectively towards to both the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
When you become a member you have a chance at some of the bigger games, i.e. Rocket League, Lego Batman Triology, Tomb Raider GOTY, etc. The best part, even if you do not win you still made a bit of a difference.
Become a member here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/dogoodersgaming
Thanks and have an awesome one!
