if I recalled correctly you can check the price of the game on Steam in USD to have an idea on how much CV you can get from your giveaway. Maybe the section at the end of FAQs would answer your question.

It shows you how much CV (contributor value) you'll get on the Review Giveaway page (See pic)

Also, read the FAQ, especially the Contributor Value and Levels section. It explains everything.

I need to correct myself. The line I show in the image is added by the ESGST script. It's not part of vanilla SteamGifts.

The easiest way for you to figure out the value of a giveaway is by the asterisks next to the game when you select it from the pulldown menu.

** = No Value
* = 15% Value ($20 game gives you 3 CV)
No *s = Full Value ($20 game gives you 20 CV)
