So I've made some offers, and then a day later get a random friend request on Steam. How can I easily go back to see all my replies to other's trade posts so I can see what this guy will be bartering for?

In this particular case he offered me two games recently available for free and then swore at me when I declined and asked if he had a list of alternatives. Had I been able to quickly see he was a random I would have just blocked instead of wasting my time.

Help the new guy out!

You can't. There's no way to see a list of your own posts on this site.
The only way is to go digging through the archives and hope you find the thread, unless he replied to your offer. In that case, the reply will be listed in the messages menu.

You can't. However, you can find their trade post on their user profile. For instance, your trade post can be found here: http://www.steamgifts.com/user/AlexanderDKB/trades

+1
Use Enhanced Steam to find a user's SG profile through their Steam profile, then find their trades.

Use Barter.vg if you want a more responsive, accessible, and detailed trading interface.

PS: Never accept random adds :'P

+1 on using barter. It is very difficult to trade here and I hardly trade here anymore. I faced the same problem of trying to locate one of my reply offer on a trade after accidentally closing the tab and took me forever to relocate that trade page. Barter is much more user friendly and every trade offer is accessible on your trade tab except those that you cancelled. Barter is still small in terms of user base compared to SG but if given more publicity, it will be a much better place to trade in. SG is no.1 for gifting and barter is no.1 for trading games for me.

Thanks for the suggestion to try barter.vg - will check it out.

I don't want to accept the random adds... I just couldn't tell if the guy was random, or someone I had made an offer to... Hopefully the site you pointed me to removed all this frustration.

Thanks again!

I've only had positive experiences with the barter interface, and with only a few exceptions, the users.

More importantly, the admin does regular updates and listens carefully to feedback- and that's what really makes barter stand out: If you've an issue, the admin'll strain themselves trying to resolve it for you, without delay.
It's pretty darn impressive.

Add in the depth of features and the cleanly presented and easily accessible organization tools offered by the site, as well as the generally fantastic user base, and you've an amazing site for trading. :)
