I decided to re-play Siren Blood Curse.
Now im in the mood for a similar movie. to keep things simple, im looking for an atmospheric horror flick set in a remote, more rural location. Not necessarily japanese. Also im mostly looking for a real place/occurence, within the movie offcourse, rather than psychological purgatory created by the characters unconscious mind

And yes im aware of Sairen (2006) im not going to rewatch that crap

It plays has an horror movie even though in some extent portrays the oppresion of women in korea.
The main point is, the movie is set in this rather creepy secluded small island where its inhabitants are not what they seem

i guess camp movies sort of fit the bill, as their set on secluded areas. but 13, chainsaw, hills have eyes are movies that ive seen way to many times already.
you did remind me of some wax house i never watched, so thanks
