3D Realms Anthology - Steam Edition is getting removed on December 31st.
Just so if you want to grab it, not all games can be bought individually, so this is very likely best deal you'll ever get for Steam versions.

Oh, for God's sake, where do Steam find the people for their support staff?

Every time I try to ask for a refund for this pack, I get an "Invalid transaction" error. Since I ordered several games at the same time, I narrowed the problem to "3D Realms Anthology - Steam Edition", because the refund process works for all the other items from the same order. There's also a "0€" item listed in the order, and it messed up when claiming the other games (were gifts) and now it says I've claimed "3D Realms Anthology - Steam Edition" successfully (when it's still in my gifts inventory). Clearly a technical problem on Steam's side.

I wrote a long message to the Steam support, describing the problem with details and screenshots. I've already received the answer, and it's a copy-paste from the "how to ask for a refund" KB article. Nice to see they didn't even read my message, or looked at the screenshots. Let's see what happens with the 14 days limit to ask for a refund in this situation where I can ask for it because of a problem on Steam's side.

I never had to use Steam support, but I'm already regretting it...

I think those empty 0€ items are coupons you used.

(You also get them back if you refund that game).

At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if, for those positions, they hire homeless illiterate bums off the streets... :P

At least they would still help keep the homeless off the streets, then!

This is just incredible. No, it's stupid. I sent another message explaining the situation again, and letting them know that I found surprising (to say the least) that they hadn't read my message.

Got their answer. "The problem is clear. Very clear. But there's nothing we can do if the purchase is outside of the 14 day refund window then it's not eligible for a refund request and there's nothing we can do. We read your messages from the very beginning."

Cool, because the purchase was made on December, 1st and I could ask for a refund until December, 15th IF THEIR FUCKING SYSTEM WAS WORKING AS EXPECTED. "Yeah, we read everything and the problem is clear, but we didn't even check the purchase date".

Oh gosh....

It sounds like you got a bad support rep. I have a few friends that encountered the same "invalid transaction" error, including myself, and we all managed to get refunds by contacting steam support

Thanks for your comment, I'll follow Bigshrimp's advice and I'll try the "ask for a supervisor" solution...

I would recommend asking for a supervisor. I had bad support reps every first contact, and even sometimes the second rep. Their service is terrible. Usually the third try works.

Thanks for the advice, how do you do ask for a supervisor? Right now my ticket is assigned to someone called "Floriana", which hasn't answered to my last message for two days (and the refund window is closing...), should I ask her (who seems to be ignoring me) for a supervisor, or should I open a new ticket pointing to the last one and asking for someone else?

I would reply back, saying you are not satisfied with the service and that you request that your ticket be handled by a supervisor.

By the way, did you ever get your refund? I sent in one refund request for Elite Dangerous and it got declined pretty quickly. So I sent in a 2nd and made my second message a little more strongly worded. The purchase is over 15 days old but I have only played 15 minutes of the game, lol.

I am pretty upset about the pricing of their expansion Elite: Horizons, I really don't agree with $45 for an expansion which also included the base game. Why not just set an expansion upgrade for less... It's bad business in my mind.

I bet they will decline my 2nd request haha.
