All these games for a dollar each:

  • Max: The Curse of Brotherhood (XBOX)
  • Star Trek (Steam)
  • Might & Magic X: Legacy (Deluxe Edition) (UPlay)
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction (UPlay)
  • F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin (Steam)
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Enhanced Edition) (GOG)
  • Outland: Special Edition (Steam)

clicky

Please mind the different platforms, not all of these are Steam games!

Simple. There were free codes on 360. :P

This isn't the 360 title, and as far as I know there was never any free codes.

Ah, XBox One version? The list above didn't make that clear. As for the freebie, there were codes being included with Live 12 month subscription cards previously, along with some credit to spend.

Fair enough, wasn't aware of that. Thanks.

I would like to know why, if they only support PP, have to force PP registration. I've seen multiple times PP used just as payment gateway without registration needs.

(edit) PP: "Account must be either Premier or Business. Personal Accounts do not have this option."

{edit2} fixed now

This isn't true. I made a CC purchase the other day without logging in to a paypal account.

It works now, but I'm sure it wasn't possible by the time I wrote my original post.

The Steam version requires Uplay also (unless you wanted a DRM-free version).

For $1, the game is pretty fun. I'd say it's definitely worth it.

No doubt. I bought it on Steam a while back. Not a fan of Uplay myself, but I love oldschool 1st person dungeon crawlers, and this one is actually pretty darned good and the game itself is gorgeous imho. I don't know why it got mixed reviews unless people were put off that it can be difficult at times, but nowhere near as difficult as games from 10 or more years ago.

If you're not easily frustrated and like a challenge, you could easily get 40-50+ hours out of it.

I've felt this way for the longest time, but caved in because $1 for deluxe and uPlay DRM is on Steam anyways.

Thankfully the other games are on GOG :)

Yep! That's a bonus feature of the Deluxe edition.

FREE COPY OF MIGHT & MAGIC® VI
EXCLUSIVE DUNGEON WHEN IT RELEASES: THE DREAM SHARD
FIRST DLC FOR FREE WHEN IT RELEASES: THE FALCON AND THE UNICORN
DIGITAL SOUNDTRACK

Edit: Just got around to setting up uPlay and activating and I see what you mean. They give it as a separate key for some reason.

Can't beat that, especially since VI isn't available on Steam anymore.

Probably a retail key if it's five groups of 5 characters.

I got Might & Magic Legacy and it was a black&white picture of the cards with the key on them. Felt like buying from Kinguin.

Should be fine, I've activated a few of the older-style keys and they worked.

SG doesn't accept key submissions if there's a blank space before or after the key, so that's probably it :)

Is Might and Magic X unavailable? I can't find it...

Sorry, they sold out :(

There was ~30 in stock a few hours ago. Didn't seem like they had much. What they distributed were photographs of the little cards you'd get in a box with the keys on them, so I'm not sure they're a licensed seller which would explain the very limited stock.
