Ooh I want a booklet of these! I can only find ones for sudoku, kenken, crossword, and word search puzzles though. :( Where did you get yours? (I play android apps full of nonograms as an alternative XD)

I play nonograms in Picmi.

There's also a multiplatform nonogram game inside the Löve2d engine demos package (you need to install the engine to run it, but it's all free, it's the no.love file).

I'm in germany, and from time to time I but a magazine called "PM Kreativ". I hate that name, just cause the result is a picture does not mean that it's about creativity. There is also "PM Logik" which I got first cause, you know, i like logical stuff like nonograms, but the logic magazines contain non nonograms...

Oh man I love nonograms! Whether or not I enter the GA I'm going to solve it.

By the way a great site for nonograms (and also other puzzles) is Griddlers.net. There are tons of user-submitted puzzles and they have variations on nonograms that include colors and half-boxes. It's crazy.

The color ones take some getting used to. There are some 'rules' that I use to solve single color puzzles that I can't use on the colored ones. But I've done a few multi-colored multi-nonograms (the site offers some puzzles that go together, so when you solve all of them they are put together to form one large picture) and they turned out really well and offered me a huge sense of accomplishment. I posted pics of them on my facebook page, but sadly none of my friends can appreciate the effort it took to solve them, so to them they are just pixelated pics of seagulls and a wolf :/
