Like everyone else here, he has to follow site rules. If he doesn't have much funds, farm cards, sell cards and use that money to buy games. Works for me, and I pay more for the games. His funds would stretch further.

While I totally get that the pricing is unfair, and maybe this is just bad phrasing, but if it's a great burden to buy any game at all, regardless if it's teir one or not, I suggest not buying that game. Buy food, water shelter, or other necessities, heck, even save it. But to buy something for entertainment that is a great burden to you is pretty silly in the long run.
