I find it difficult to believe how many of these games have a positive rating...

Because people enjoy them?

Because some of them are genuinely good. For example, I think Morphopolis is a short art experiment everyone should try, unless they have entomophobia. Heck, even the short SP F2P games have a few pearls lying among the sea of P2W MOBA/MMO junk.

I played Morphopolis a couple weeks ago. The game was nice but the controls were wretched.

Space Pilgrim was fine, just like Morphopolis. I haven't completed Out There Somewhere, but it's a really well done platformer where you can teleport. Defy Gravity is also quite solid, gravity based puzzle/platformer game. Cthulhu Saves the world is correct JRPG (though got boring for me), and The Deed looks really intresting as well, already bought it for myself + for giveaways. Cheap generally can mean bad, but there are pretty good cheap titles :)

For a $1 game (25cents now), you'd have to work at making it bad enough for me to not think it's worth the price. As long as it works, as in doesn't crash, its good.

Ghostmaster is amongst the cheapest and is a nice classic.

Defy Gravity is a nice game, a bit hard for me though.. I got stuck in one level and eventually gave up =x

Yeah, I agree. I first couldn't believe that these cheap games could be any good. Somehow I tried one game and now I love these smaller games!
Defy Gravity is definitely a great game to play, it's worth it's full price, but on sale, everyone should buy it.
I also really enjoyed LIMBO, BEEP (!!!) and Waveform.

no, it's president's day.
That's when the president steps outside, and if he sees his shadow, 6 more months of bullshit

The Deed was $0.16 and then now it's suddenly $0.49... yeah, ok.

They realised that after Steam taking its cut, they receive 1 cent after every purchase, probably.

Probably. It is a tad irritating that it was changed just before I was about to buy it though.

Well, it is still half a dollar/Euro. Or if you want, you can just go for the ungodly amount of GAs that were created for it in the past few hours.

Lol, I know. Just saying that a sudden increase in price can be slightly annoying, even if it is small. At the moment, I'm trying to stick to just buying games with cards. I don't have a large budget right now, so, I'm trying not to dip into it. I'll shush now.

The Deed was surprisingly great. Played through multiple times to get different endings. Even tried keeping my sister's underwear on my person when getting searched by the detective to see how he'd squirm.

It truly hurts me how lots of those really cheap games are low-quality, especially with how a lot of the RPGs are RPG-maker free-asset games. Oh well, cheap is cheap.

Actually, I've found a lot of really cheap games that were decent quality, but that was months ago. Not seeing as many as before, or rather, I now own all the decent ones, and what is left is pretty crappy.

if a game costs negative money, does that mean they'll pay me to play it?
