Gotta love the logic we have around here.

Game costs 1 dollar? Shitloads of copies everywhere!

Better game costs 2-3 dollars? Only a handful of giveaways...maybe!

Basically I've seen people who've shared tons of copies of Bad Rats, Secrets of the Magic Crystals etc, but nothing good that would have costed only a little bit more (maybe even less if you value quality over quantity, why share tons of terribad games when you can share a few really good ones)

It's about the cost-to-contributor value of the game. $1 gets you 10p value. $3.99 bundle can get people $40+ so people do it. It's nothing to do with quality. Only selfishness.

Well, I played just a few minutes of Crazy Machines so far and it's kinda fun. It's like a less cartoonish The Incredible Machine (remember that?).
