when I started buying games back in December and discovered Fanatical for the first time it seemed like they have amazing bundles, I spent hundreds during a few months and I don't know if it was just lucky timing or me having small game list, but for the past 6-8 months it's been absolute garbage and extremely overpriced at that, even in the supposedly "platinum" ones
still see some hidden indie gems every once in a while though but from what I understand they've been rebundled countless times, it's just that I never had them

Not at all. They used to have great bundles. Then the bundle economy crashed due to the grey market, and since they had sold out to Fandom, Inc. in 2021, the bottom line became a bigger thing than it was before I guess and it went to hell
And when you can make a lot preying on gambling addict with "mystery" trash, real bundles kinda take a backseat to that, you know?
I am not going to lie, theirs are probably the only bundles I buy anymore because every once in a while a BYOB has a couple of games I can see myself playing and IG and HB don't even have that anymore and their bundles are way way more overpriced but I bought maybe two bundles this year total. I used to have to drag myself from the site when they had Bundlefests before.

The prestige bundle having Afterimage and Thymesia (both games I really wanted) is very tempting, but some of these choices in the bundle are very questionable. I'll sit on it for a bit and/or wait for other bundles.

The game is good though, but it's quite unbalanced in terms of difficulty, at least in my opinion... I feel like the common enemies are just very tanky for my taste.
If you are good at parrying, you can complete the main game within 4-5 hours easily I would say. I have 4.0 hours played and I am right in front of the final boss, I have also tried the boss a few times, but I took a break for a bit lol.
By looking at howlongtobeat, if you wanna do 100% achievements, it would take like 14-15 hours, but the main story is like 5~ hours lol...

I ended up caving and getting Thymesia + Afterimage + 9 Years of Shadows since two were on my WL for awhile. May give Thymesia a try in the near future. Thanks for the thoughts! My parrying skills are kinda rusty since I barely parried in Elden Ring lol

Thymesia is definitely a good game to try, but it's just too short and it's for me quite unbalanced, especially the first boss...
It's more like Sekiro than ER though. I mean you don't have to parry at all, but it gives you a nice advantage.

Speaking strictly to the current min price and quality, there are a couple of games in the Prestige Bundle that are worth the asking price. At the same time this feels more like a sale, rather than an actual bundle and people will be disappointed.
