Need help with paypal

Ok, guys I am new to paypal and dont know much about it, so go easy on me pls

I have registered an a/c and also confirmed my email address. Nowi wanted to know can i receive/send money without verifying my a/c?

Also, what are the advantages of verifying ur a/c, what will i miss if i dont do it.

whats the difference b/w an unverified and a verified a/c ?

Also, it would be very nice of someone if he could personally help me by sending the lowest possible amount (0.1/0.01), for testing purposes. I will send it back if its allowed and u tell me how.

you are able to pay and receive money, but unable to cash-out.

also keep in mind that many traders won't trade with unverified account.

If someone won't take the time to verify their account, I fear the risk of chargebacks even more and won't do business with those people.

Any PayPal account can chargeback a payment they've sent, even gifts are not 100% secure. Charge backs can happen anytime after sending out a payment up to 60days after. So basically people send a payment, get their stuff from you, then charge back either claiming their account/credit card was used fraudulently or that they didn't get their goods. Personally, I don't trust anyone newer than 60days, and I certainly don't trust anyone with an unverified account. I've not been scammed (yet).

I traded something once through paypal (I paid), but I don't even know if my account is verified. I guess I was just lucky that the guy trusted me.

It's more likely to happen with unverified PayPal accounts as they are usually throwaways or perceived that way... So it's more risky as a seller. It may or may not matter to the individual seller, but it all depends.

Yes you can send/receive money without verifying your account but you have a limit.

Verifying your account will lift the send limit your account has, you'll also be able to transfer money between your PP account and your bank account.

A verified PP account will give your potential traders peace of mind.

You need to verify your account by getting your card statement and entering the code given to you.

Traders don't trade with unverified account, mostly.

There is a limit to how much you can send or receive if you do not verify your account.

They will think it is a "fake" or a scam account or something along those lines I believe. I don't trade just guessing.

IIRC I believe it is easier to charge back on an unverified account. Don't take my word for it though, I am probably completely wrong.

Well, you can't pay? S= I can even without verified paypal, they did change it sometime ago, I just can buy and sell everything and receive and give money.
