And I will never do that since Microsoft are content to let my several hundred dollar XBox Live account be inaccessible to me. Can't wait to find a decently priced PS3.

My account is linked to an email lost in one of their times of getting hacked. Couldn't recover the email at the time, because its full of info I made up while still young. Since I could still use the XBox Live account, I just continued with it. A recent change though has required all accounts to log in again. To an account I can't access.
Called Microsoft, talking for a few hours, jumped through hoops, until 'We have all we need, we will send you a reset link shortly'. Last Monday, after waiting a week, still nothing, call them again. Get the run around, basically finish up with being told they will not be helping me.

OK that sucks :(
What if you give them a key for something you redeemed on this account? (or anything else for proof).

I offered to do that. They claimed it wasn't proof.

How do you expect them to feed their kids if you can't force you to re-buy your games?

So the important question: is it actually your birthday? :D

Call it a Christmas topic and let others make the giveaways :P

I want to, but doubt my wallet will let me do anything.

Bobofatt birthday event!
Seriously though, there is absolutely no need to make a birthday giveaway.

I remember getting that email, i thought it was a joke.

I really thought you were gonna tell us to advertise SG to everyone, like I don't try to get more people here already.
Since it's not that though, I feel obligated to point out how stupid this whole thing is. Why the hell would anyone want to do that? A paper cake? This is the stupidest marketing plan I've seen in a long time.

They don't give 20 cents as a BDAY gift anymore? D:
They used to give people 20 cents for their birthday.

I thought Bobofatt was gonna ask us to help advertise SG. But now that I see it is for xbox... i do not care.

hahaha. What a cheap ass way to say happy birthday. You do all the work for us than we'll say happy birthday.

Why in the fuck would I waste time taking a picture of a cake on my birthday just to tweet it at xboxliverewards just to get a happy birthday from someone whom I've never met?
Hell I might send them a picture of my shit one day with that tag just to show them how shitty this...promotion or whatever you want to call it is.

Yeah, I just got one of those, too. I've had this email account for ages, so I'm used to getting a bunch of vapid "Happy Birthday" spam from sites I've signed up to over the years, but this is the first that's demanded I advertise for them in order to get an empty "Happy Birthday" wish from an actual humanoid.
From one December baby to another, let me sincerely say, "Happy birthday, and bah-humbug."
