Mine is Helloween4545, both have more of a intellectual approach more than the common mediocre commentary you see by most.

I watch them, and while I generally enjoy their stuff the quality is hit or miss. The Minecraft series is incredibly stale (how many weeks in a row of fetch quests have we got in a row?) and obviously there to milk the cash cow as long as it breathes.
As for other games, it's more bits and pieces than picking a game and playing from start to end, which can be good or bad, depending on personal taste. Good, as in you get variety and abundance of content. Bad, as in zero competence and often half an hour of wasting everyone's time or screaming into a microphone.

Chipcheezum and General Ironicus, hands down.
I found in Chip the perfect mix of informative LP and entertainment. He does his homework beforehand, he is competent at the games he plays and there is the right amount of planning and post production to show everything the game has to offer without wasting everyone's time, especially in the newer LPs.
His Let's Play of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is, in my opinion, one of the best examples in the genre. He's now working on The Wonderful 101 and it looks like it's coming out equally good.

Wow I didn't expect this many people I didn't know. It's intersting how many LPers are out there that are considered to be best by some people yet I don't know anything about them yet. My two favorites are Markiplier and Stephen Georg (his channel's name is stephenplays) They are both amazing in a different way.

I know there is no best, but everyone who watches LPers has one that they like the most or think they're the best. I'm asking for opinions not the definition of "the best youtuber ever"

Simply put: My own Mouse, Keyboard and Fingers are the best LPers, since I can enjoy the game without distractions if I want to ^^"
If I don't want to: mh, I really appreciate People like MyNameIsNotLilly to name a good exsample, who give the Lets Play more Atmosphere and Story instead of silly derping PDP like Style.
