Help With VPN? Also, The Ship drops cards now!

Hey guys, I am from Germany, and really jealous that Americans can play Borderlands The Pre-Sequel already in 10 hours, and I have to wait 3 days... So I wanted to use VPN to start the game, but whatever Program I use, it does not work:( It says I am connected, my IP adress is changed, but Steam always knows I am German:(( Also all Websites are still german, do you have any idea what to do? I used CyberGhost 5 and Unlimited VPN, and some free shit, but that didnt even start properly... please help me:(

BTW The ship drops 3 cards now:) The first 2 people that help me out, or at least try seriously, can have it:) Or you can help without any reason and let me give the game to someone else:)

I tried using these programs on different servers, nothing... and also checked firewall, everything okay... It seems totally fine, it just makes nothing:(

try OpenVPN is really good, always worked for me
