Attention space explorers! To celebrate the re-release of Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space for the PC, we're presenting the ultimate Infinite Space game collection: In addition to the new version of Weird Worlds for Windows, beat the average price and you'll get a cargo hold full of bonus content such as fan favorite mods and the unsupported (but official) Weird Worlds for pre-Lion Mac OS X.

Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space is a hybrid roguelike game of space adventure and starship combat set within an unexplored region of the galaxy known as the Purple Void. Each game is an instant randomly generated space opera that plays to its conclusion in one sitting. No. Strange adventures in infinite space is free, this is the sequel.

It's funny how they include a free game as the BTA

This game is on steam? I bought it with Indie Royale May Hurray bundle, but only got a desura key.

I hope that they'll add Steam keys for those of us who bought the bundle.

It isn't available on the Steam store yet - but you do get a Steam key from IndieGameStand.

Just a heads up: If the average price goes up beyond what you're paying, even if you think you're beating the average, you're not.

That is to say, you can check out thinking you paid more than average, and not get any bonus content.

And, unlike other places, there is no option to increase what you paid in order to bump you up to above average.

Update: It was pretty much exactly how I figured:

We do have a grace period of 5 minutes, but the checkout page refresh time was set to 15 minutes, which in retrospect wasn't the smartest idea. We've updated that to be also be 5 minutes, so the average price should always be up-do-date and within the grace period on the checkout page.

They credited me with the bonus content, and updated the system so it won't happen again to anyone else. That's pretty good service, haha.

if that's true it might be helpful to report it at IndieGameStand Support by submitting a ticket

Hmm, I don't think so. The average price jumped up 50 cents while I was paying (I happened to be one of the first buyers), but I still got all the bonus content.

It definitely happened. Maybe it's a time thing? I was on the phone when I opened the buy window. When I returned to the window, it had refreshed, and the average price had gone up about 20 cents. I placed my order, beating the then-average on the screen. Went to my game wallet, no bonus content. Went back to the buy page, and saw the average price was up another 10 cents from the average I had seen on the buy page a moment earlier.

If you still got the bonus content while the price went up, I would conclude there is a grace period. Unfortunately for me, the grace period appears to be a little shorter than the buy-page-refresh period, haha doh.

Ha, that's great! Bought it as soon as the deal started. Loved SAIS. And Weird Worlds is unavailable from Steam Store here.

I would totally buy this if I wasn't challenging myself not to buy games for myself. I did enjoy messing around with Strange Adventures in Infinite Space.
