Steam Badge Question

So for all of the leveled badges for each game it says on the level 1 badge 100xp, level 2 badge 200xp and so on. I'm wondering, on that second level do you get 200 MORE xp for a total of 300 xp or is it just 100 more xp totaling at 200 xp? Thanks!
