Asking people for likes is advertising even if they are asking for something that costs nothing but time. That's fine to ask as thanks for a giveaway, but not cool to ask for in the forums.
If this is allowed, then it means everyone else can do it as long as they put in a public giveaway, do you want the forum to suddenly become all "please like my facebook page!" and very little else? Allowing it would more than likely lead to it.

If this is begging, than every one promoting their Greenlight here and asking for +1s on them is begging too. I happen to need the AE games FB page for my upcoming game and while at it I've added my own blogging project to it as well ;)

How about you gain a sense of logic? It doesn't matter if trading is begging or not. It's not allowed here due to other rules. But from your other responses I gather that you don't give a rat's ass if this forum becomes all trade requests and begging for faccebook likes and stuff like that.

I don't think his odd line of thought and your line of thought are gonna mesh well until the dude realizes you explained your posts just fine.
But looking at the way he's responded you could say you never said anything about trading as a response in kind to his sense of responding to well elaborated posts.

FB says it is in their ToS, while a German Court said you can use aliases, and thus have more accounts...
A cousin of mine has at least 3 accounts for the games she plays on FB. She uses those 2 'alt accounts' to trade with herself to get the daily extras they'd give. Up to now she's had those 3 accounts for 3 years at least and FB never made it a problem.
