doesnt voting for keys kinda kills purpose of greenlight? :P so many games do it now... vote for us and u get a key system is kinda nice, if you want a free game but still, not sure thats what steam had on mind when making greenlight ? :)

if people are selling their votes for keys, of course it's killing the purpose of greenlight. or you can (maybe you are already doing) vote for the games that looks appealing to you. i don't see anything wrong with promotions. if there was no wgn, i probably wouldn't bump into this game on greenlight. now not only that i'm voted for a game that reminds me golden axe 2 thus my childhood, i'm also promised a free key of it. it's a win-win when your intention is not to exploit it.

no, u got me wrong. In your case, ud vote yes even without being given a key upon greenlighting (is that a word?). but there are people who will vote yes just because of that key, and maybe wont ever play the game at the first place, or maybe even vote no but hey, its a free key so voting no is not an option any longer :=P If more games start doing this... pretty much every game will end up being greenlight-ed.

Which brings me back to... it kills purpose of greenlight, they might as well close it and just greenlight it all :=)

yeap we're all suffering from exploiters but i guess there is not much to do about it. why am i keep complaning about exploiters while the real topic we're talking about is greenlight system? because no exploiters mean no irrelevant votes ergo greenlight is still a solid system!\o/ i heard a rumor* about gaben gonna get rid of the greenlight in sg forum but i don't think it'll happen before hl3 release. i guess we'll all wait and see what will happen.

edit: i always mix up rumor* and humour.

yea doubt its gonna happen any soon :P Btw i wasnt talking about this game in particular (as i actually like the looks of it, so far :P and i voted yes too), was more about greenlight issues in general. But oh well theres not much we can do about it though :-)
